PlatformShop floor

Every machine and terminal, live in one system.

Zentio receives machine states from your MES and over OPC UA, retrofits older machines without an interface, collects quantities and stop reasons at the terminal and shows the live state of the shop floor on every screen. Every other area of Zentio works from the same data.

Machine and MES integration

Reads every machine the moment its state changes.

Zentio connects to your machines over OPC UA and to your MES and retrofits older machines without an interface, so states, part counts and alarms reach every area of Zentio as they happen.

  • Machine state, part counts and alarms per work center
  • Orders and confirmations from your MES
  • Older machines retrofitted with sensors
  • Connection health and the last signal of every source
Shop floor data collection

Records the work where it happens.

Your team starts, interrupts and finishes operations at the terminal and reports good parts and scrap, with the next job and its setup sheet in view.

  • Start, interruption and finish per operation
  • Good parts and scrap with the scrap reason
  • The next job and its setup sheet at the machine

Asks for the reason while the stop is still fresh.

When a machine stops, its terminal asks why. The reason reaches the downtime report, the cost figures and the schedule at once.

  • Stops detected from the machine signal
  • Reasons your team defines, one tap each
  • Every stop with its duration and reason

Puts a cost on every stop.

Zentio prices each stop your team records at the terminal with the work center’s machine hour rate and the operator’s wage, so the most expensive reasons rise to the top.

  • Stops by reason, in hours and euros
  • Rates from your ERP and HR system
  • The same figures in every report

Puts the live state of the shop floor on every screen.

Screens on the shop floor show machine states, today’s output and what runs next. Terminals at each work center show the queue for the shift.

  • Shop floor screens: machine states and today’s output
  • Terminals: the queue for each work center and shift
  • Alerts: stops and late orders, the moment they happen
  • One source: the same live data every area of Zentio works with

Updates every area with each terminal entry.

Actual starts, quantities and stops reach the Agentic Twin, Zentio’s dynamic model of your operation, as they happen. The schedule shows actual progress, Zen knows where each order stands and the master data agent proposes a correction when planned cycle times drift from real ones.

Master data agent
  1. Your team

Planners, shift leads and operators set the rules and make the decisions Zen brings to them.

  2. Ask Zen

Zen answers questions, handles routine work within the rules you set and asks your team for every decision beyond them.

  3. Specialist agents

They do the work behind each answer: scheduling, scenarios, staffing or master data.

  4. Agentic Twin

It holds everything from machine states to the rules your team confirms.

  5. Your systems

Your ERP, MES, machines and Excel files stay in place and feed the Agentic Twin with orders, routings and machine states.

Three steps, repeated with every change.

Each pass leaves the Agentic Twin more precise.

  1. Understand

Zen reads the Agentic Twin to show what changed, which delivery dates are at risk and where you lose time and capacity. Each answer keeps recorded facts apart from assumptions.

  2. Decide

The agents compare your options with their cost, test each one against likely disruptions and draft the next move for your team to approve.

  3. Learn

Stop reasons, actual times and the rules your team confirms flow back into the Agentic Twin. The master data agent proposes new planned times when the actuals drift.

Questions about the shop floor.

Which machines can Zentio connect to?

Machines with an OPC UA interface, the machines your MES already records and older machines we retrofit with sensors. We confirm the signals and the connection method for each machine during the evaluation.

Does Zentio replace our MES?

No. Zentio reads orders, confirmations and machine states from your MES and adds terminals and screens where your team needs them.

What does the team record at the terminal?

The start, interruption and finish of each operation, good parts, scrap and the reason for every stop.

What do the screens on the shop floor show?

Machine states, today’s output against the target, the next operations per work center and alerts for stops and late orders.

Does Zentio show what a stop costs?

Yes. Zentio prices each stop your team records at the terminal with the work center’s machine hour rate and the operator’s wage. You see the cost broken down by reason and by machine.

Where is our machine data hosted, and which AI models can we use?

Zentio stores your data in Germany, or in another region if you prefer, and is GDPR compliant. Zentio works with all common large language models, or with one you host yourself. Your data is never used to train the models.
